yesterday on Feb 18th 2011 at Tennis Indoor Senayan, the long awaited Deftones finally performed and it was the best..concert..ever.
since i first listened to their Saturday Night Wrist album ( yeah, im a new age Deftones fans ) i completely fell in love with them, they succeeded in creating a music that has an original riffs, raw vocal/beautiful at the same time, also a very classy drum patterns ( damn you, Abe! )

A few hours before the show i ran into their hotel in Ritz Carlton with my buddies, sneaking if i could take a picture and give them our beloved DREAMBIRDS tees!!
i didn't thought Chino and the rest would came out and received my tees cus maybe he's in a hurry to do check sound at the venue..so i just sat near the lift door and having a chat with other Deftonesians around there with a bit of hope, still.
2 hours left and still there hasn't any sign they would came down, suddenly… Stephen Carpenter walked in front of us! a freezing moment then we finally chased him and we DID get a few shots with him, a nice guy and brilliant way of thinking, i respected him, but the one i was looking hasn't came down yet, Chino Moreno and Abe Cunningham…
i didn't thought Chino and the rest would came out and received my tees cus maybe he's in a hurry to do check sound at the venue..so i just sat near the lift door and having a chat with other Deftonesians around there with a bit of hope, still.

after taking a pictures with the riff makers, we came back to the sofa near the lift, and continued to chat, i was fucking hungry and felt kinda dizzy that moment but fuck it, " this is once in a life time " i said to myself. Around 15 minutes later, a guy with bags and cables on his hand went out, and i thought " this is it, it's time "
then, the moment of truth were finally came…. Chino showed up, and i ran to him like as fast as i could!! " CHINOOOOOOOOOOO !!!! " i shouted so damn hard i didn't give a shit to anybody else, and i shook his hand, the 1st one, yes..me! " Hey, whats up? " he asked, i was like " Chino, you're like…everything to me….im fucking speechless man!!! " he chuckled then i gave him the DEVIL WITHIN tees, 1 of 50!!

he looked surprised, " wew, for real? " and i said, " YES!!, i want you to have it Chino " than my buddies took a pictures of me and Chino while he's holding the tees….

i trembled, i felt so happy that moment… but wait!! ABE CUNNINGHAM showed up!! and once again i ran into him, and shook his super big hands! lol i gave him the black logo in XL size…he's not as tall as i think, about 2 inches taller than me i guess, and he was very nice and supportive, love you DEFTONES!!
and as for the show later that night, it was super awesome, and it was the greatest concert i've ever seen with my own eyes…thank you God, thank you so much.
